Luminary Successfully Completes SOC 2 Type 1 Audit

Luminary Platforms, a vertical SaaS company providing trust & estate enablement technologies for wealth advisors, today announced its successful completion of its Type 1 SOC 2 audit as of Feb 15, 2023 as it looks to establish industry leading standards for application functionality and data security.
The SOC 2 audit was conducted by leading compliance assessor A-LIGN, a technology-enabled security and compliance partner trusted by more than 2,500 global organizations to help mitigate cybersecurity risks.
The analog world in which nearly all trust & estate data exists is neither accessible nor secure. We think a modern, purpose built technical infrastructure can solve both of these problems. But they must be solved at the same time. And as much our product roadmap emphasizes transparency and collaboration, it places the same primary importance on data protection. Established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 2 examination is designed for organizations of any size, regardless of industry and scope, to ensure the personal assets of their potential and existing customers are protected. SOC 2 reports are recognized globally and affirm that a company’s infrastructure, software, people, data, policies, procedures and operations have been formally reviewed.
