Luminary now integrates with eMoney, making it easier than ever to sync financial data directly into your estate planning workflows—no double entry required. This update empowers advisors to move faster, reduce risk, and immediately deliver more value to their high-net-worth clients and prospects.
Luminary is Now an Addepar Premier Partner

Smart File Conversion
Working with client documents just got easier. Luminary now automatically converts Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other file types into PDFs—making them fully viewable and accessible across the platform.
Model DSUE in the Estate Waterfall
Advisors can now include Deceased Spouse Unused Exemption (DSUE) amounts directly in Luminary, from either the gifting screen or within tax settings. These inputs are seamlessly reflected in the estate waterfall, enabling more accurate and personalized planning for clients with prior spousal exemptions.
Export Estate Waterfalls to Excel
You can now export estate waterfall analyses directly to Excel, complete with an overview of all entities—segmented by in- and out-of-estate—plus year-over-year changes, liabilities, and more. The export includes visual cues like year-of-death highlights for easy review and collaboration.
Compare and Present Multiple Estate Scenarios

Bring your estate planning scenarios to life with powerful new tools for client presentations. Now, you can compare multiple estate waterfalls side-by-side in a single presentation—making it easier to walk clients through multiple scenarios and illustrate key distinctions. Configure which waterfalls to compare and make updates directly from the presentation. Each set includes a detailed assumptions page outlining tax rates, death years, growth, and cashflows, plus branded cover pages with optional notes for a polished, client-ready finish.
Smarter Business Entity Integrations
Our updated business ownership logic adapts intelligently to complex client structures—automatically selecting the best approach for valuing nested entities based on ownership and integration context. Unlike rigid, rule-based tools, Luminary reflects the real-world nuance of your clients’ holdings with precision and ease, to ensure accurate valuations without manual input.
