Meet the speakers

Julia Kosinski collaborates across teams at Luminary to refine the product and strengthen the client experience. Drawing on her background as a trusts and estates attorney, she ensures Luminary’s solutions are grounded in the real-world needs of both clients and advisors. She bridges the gap between legal nuance and technology to help build tools that are both innovative and practical.
Prior to Luminary, Julia held senior roles at the Dalio Family Office and practiced trusts and estates law at Harris Beach Murtha Cullina PLLC and a boutique law firm in Connecticut. She holds a J.D. and an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the Heckerling Institute.

Ian Lyons leads engineering at Luminary and is part of the founding team. He works closely with Luminary's customers to understand their needs and those of their clients and build powerful, usable tools to help enable their work.
Prior to Luminary, Ian held senior engineering leadership roles at Blend (IPO 2021, NYSE: BLND), where he contributed to and led teams across key product and platform initiatives, empowering banks and their customers to collaborate on a frictionless and compliant lending process.

Patrick Gordon leads Luminary’s sales function and is part of the founding team at Luminary. Luminary is a data and collaboration platform purpose-built for the delivery of trust and estate, and wealth transfer services. He partners closely with Institutions, RIAs, Single and Multi-Family Offices to drive differentiated Trust & Estates experiences for their end-clients.
Patrick previously held senior sales roles at Blend Labs and Addepar. He spent the majority of his career as an Advisor at J.P.Morgan’s Private Bank assisting UHNW clients and their respective family offices with banking, investment and estate planning needs.
