Smarter summaries, clearer visuals, and more control. This month, we’ve introduced tools to streamline distribution modeling, expand client presentations, and deepen document summary capabilities. Plus, catch our latest webinar exploring how AI can help you develop estate planning into a strategic advantage for your firm.

Create Combined Summaries from Multiple Documents

Tracking the evolution of a trust, will, or business entity over time can be tedious — and risky. Advisors often have to manually compare sequential amendments or codicils to determine what provisions are still in effect, leaving room for missed changes and conflicting interpretations.

Our new Combined Document Summary feature solves this. Now you can manage amendments for trusts and business entities, as well as codicils for wills, directly in Luminary. The platform automatically produces:

  • Document summaries for each individual amendment – a clear, chronological record of modifications
  • A combined current state summary – a single, authoritative view of the key details and provisions now in effect

This creates a living, consolidated record that’s easy to share with clients, attorneys, or tax advisors — and ensures everyone works from the same version of the truth.

Dispositive Provisions Visual Builder

Entering dispositive provisions just got faster — and more intuitive. Luminary now includes a visual builder that lets you visualize in real time how distributions will appear in the estate waterfall diagram as you are entering data, making it easier to model death-based distributions, identify over- or under-distributed entities, and understand the impact on individual beneficiaries.

Add Ownership Diagrams to Client Presentations

You can now include ownership diagrams directly in your client presentations — making it easier to visualize and explain how various entities, even those with complex nested ownership structures, are owned across the estate. Just like with estate waterfalls, diagrams can be renamed to reflect your client’s specific structure or planning goals.
