Marketing Lead

This month, we’re making it even easier to lead with planning. A new client-friendly trust summary prompt simplifies conversations across generations, while expanded support for key documents like prenuptial agreements and letters of wishes brings more of the estate plan into view. You can now push estate data directly into Addepar dashboards, and updated Estate360 visuals deliver a cleaner, more compelling way to present structures. We’ll be at Heckerling next week — visit us at booth 525 — and we’re honored to be named one of Built In’s Best Startups to Work For in NYC.

Enterprise Updates

We’re continuing to invest in features that meet enterprise-level standards for security, control, and integration — giving your team more control, no matter your size. These latest updates give IT and compliance teams more flexibility, while making it easier to scale planning across the entire organization.

  • Customer-Managed Encryption Keys: Bring your own encryption keys and control how your data is accessed. With tenant-isolated envelope encryption across structured fields and file storage, firms can meet internal security standards without compromising usability.

  • Bring Your Own Model Provider: Use your own OpenAI Platform or Azure OpenAI instance to process all AI activity. You manage the data policies and costs — with zero data retained by Luminary.

  • Public API: Connect Luminary to the systems you already use — like CRMs, portals, or planning tools. Our API makes it easy to sync client, entity, and asset data across platforms and automate common workflows.

These updates bring enterprise-grade capabilities to every Luminary user — helping firms operate with more security, efficiency, and scale.

Estate Data, Now in Addepar

Our new bi-directional integration with Addepar makes it easy to bring estate planning insights into portfolio-level reporting. Push values like estimated estate tax, household exemptions, and in/out-of-estate assets directly from Luminary into your Addepar dashboards.

Client-Friendly Trust Summaries

We’ve added a new system prompt that creates plain-language trust summaries for client conversations. With consistent formatting and a focus on trustees, beneficiaries, and distribution terms, it helps simplify complex documents while preserving key details.

Customizable Education Slides

You can now tailor Luminary’s client education slides to match your firm’s voice, branding, and approach. Edit any out-of-the-box content or create new slides from scratch directly in the Admin center. Available to users with branding permissions, this update makes it easier to deliver personalized, on-brand education across client conversations.

Expanded Support for Estate Documents

You can now upload and process four new document types in Luminary: divorce settlements, prenuptial agreements, letters of wishes, and advance directives. These additions reflect common client needs and are supported with tailored document summaries for each.

AI-Powered Notes for Trust Tiles

No more writing tile notes from scratch. Luminary now auto-generates editable notes for all trust and sub-trust tiles in the estate waterfall — with prompt options for trustees, dispositive provisions, and holdings/liquidity, plus a custom option.

Luminary Named a Best Place to Work

We’re proud to share that Luminary was named one of Built In’s Best Startups to Work For in NYC for 2026. This recognition reflects the collaborative, mission-driven culture behind the platform — and our continued focus on building thoughtful technology to modernize trust & estate services.
